Bangcombe County Press Release:

Are you curious about the early voting plan for next year’s election? Do you have ideas or want to weigh up voting locations? The Election Committee hopes to solicit public feedback and the Election Services Department is pleased to announce that the proposed early voting plan for the 2022 primary election is now available for review on our website.

“We know that fostering dialogue is essential to building trust,” noted Corinne Duncan, director of election services. "Elections are not just a process of voting on a certain day. By publishing the draft plan for review as early as possible, our community can truly participate in the election process through their feedback."

Please complete a short survey on our website and tell us what you think. The board of directors will hold a meeting at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, December 1 to review feedback and discuss the proposed plan. The public can also participate in this meeting in person or on a virtual basis at our new location (Interchange Building-59 Woodfin Place, Ashville, NC 28801).
